Prof. Mukesh Parikh

Mr. Mukesh Parikh is a trainer and consultant for Global Maritime, Logistics and Supply chain Industry with over 40 years hands on Industry experience. First half of his career was in Commercial Shipping, while the second half is in Ports & Terminals and Logistics Industry.

 

With Post Graduation in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur (1975-77 batch); he started his Maritime Industry career with The Shipping Corporation of India. During his career with The SCI, he was trained as an Instructor by UNCTAD. As a trained instructor, he was actively involved in Training through an UNCTAD+UNDP project TRAINMAR. Under the TRAINMAR project, he organized a number of training programs for shipping executives in India, Indian Sub-Continent, Asia and Middle East. He was deputed to Oslo, Norway where he attended one year “Professional Shipping” program securing the First Rank among all participants from 14 different countries. He worked for a number of shipping companies in Asia and Middle East.

 

In 1997, he joined The Adani Group in Senior Management position from the inception stage of Mundra Port and made a major contribution to set up Business Development and Marketing team as well as prepare Standard Operating Procedures for the entire spectrum of Operations in the port. Since July 2014, he regularly conducts Executive Training Programs and workshops in Maritime Industry across the world. In November 2019, he joined Adani Institute of Infrastructure as Adjunct Professor in order to support the Institute’s Centre of Excellence – Transportation.

Dr Rachna Gangwar

Associate Professor – Public Policy

M.Sc. (University of Karlsruhe, Germany), Ph.D. (CEPT University, Ahmedabad)

Rachna Gangwar specializes in transport systems and logistics. She has more than 20 years of experience working across industry and academia in India and Germany. Her research interests lie in the areas of transport policy, public private partnerships, urban transport, and logistics and supply chain management. She has written a number of case studies and published several refereed papers on contemporary issues in the Indian context. She has been a part of research projects undertaken for the erstwhile Planning Commission, Asian Development Bank, and Railway Board on private container train operations, railway turnaround and PPPs in railways.

Prior to joining Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management in June 2020, she held teaching and research positions at University of Karlsruhe Germany, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad, and TAPMI School of Business Jaipur. Her industry experience include working for PTV AG, the largest consulting firm of Germany in the area of transport and logistics where she handled several European projects for government clients.

She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics Transport, Transportation Research Group of India, and World Conference of Transport Research Society.

Apoorv is a civil engineer fuelled by his interest in marketing & strategy. He is trained under JSPL and CIL by getting into technicalities of operations as well as management. His openness to new learnings    landed him in Infrastructure management. His profound interest in research helped him in contributing to various publications and his travelling experiences had also helped him in learning new things and has endorsed life skills.

BhumirajSinh is pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Infrastructure Management) from Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management. He has completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Government Engineering College, Modasa under Gujarat Technological University. He has strong interest in Logistic Operations Management. He loves to spend his spare time in drawing and reading.

With work experience of 15 months as an Assistant Tender Executive, Darshan is currently pursuing PDGM in Infrastructure Management from Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management. He had completed his graduation in B.E - Electrical from Gujarat Technological University. He want to develop his career in the field of logistics and supply chain management with key focus on port and transportation sector. He likes to spend his free time reading articles or books related to port and transport industry.

Dhaval had pursued his Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) in Civil Engineering from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. He completed his summer internship at Linton University, Malaysia where he learned and found new insights about safety aspects in infrastructure projects and also, attended Annual National Conference of Charted Association of Building Engineers. In his spare time, he likes to watch news on politics and like to play cricket.

Diwang has completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Civil from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. He had completed one month internship from Indore Development Authority, Indore. He had done voluntary worked with NGOs and also had been an active volunteer in institutional activities. In his spare time, he likes to watch TV series.
